Welcome new members

Send a greeting when someone joins and point them to the channels and roles they need.

Write your greeting

Link to your rules, introduction channel or role panel. A short greeting is usually enough to help someone get started. You can also configure a separate message for members who leave.

Choose where messages appear

Choose a channel that new members can read. Check placeholders in the preview and use mentions sparingly. If you enable a private welcome message, check its content separately from the channel greeting.

Try joining the server

Open Welcome, select the destination and save your message. Check that Orbit can send there and that new members can open the linked channels. Test a join to see the greeting as a new member would.
